TQS supports industrial projects with experienced inspection and construction management services. Our team performs multi-disciplined equipment inspections on everything from advanced proprietary alloys to fiberglass and thermoplastic equipment, delivering technical expertise across a wide range of materials, fabrication methods, and applications. TQS also offers Construction Management services to provide hands-on field coordination, QA/QC oversight, contractor management, schedule monitoring, and safety support to help ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client requirements from fabrication through project completion.

TQS Inspections, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Doug Mitchell, who recognized the growing need for reliable on-site and shop fabrication inspection services for both domestic and international clients. With a strong background in welding and quality assurance program development, Doug built TQS on a foundation of technical expertise, responsiveness, and long-standing industry relationships. Recognizing the evolving needs of industrial projects, TQS expanded into Construction Management services in 2022 to provide more comprehensive project support. In 2026, Megan Mitchell-Dunkmann and Erin Mitchell-Waters acquired TQS, continuing the company’s legacy as a family-operated, women-owned business committed to delivering quality-driven inspection and construction management services across a wide range of industries.
